BUILDING EXCITEMENT

BUILDING EXCITEMENT in Casino Design 2009. The annual roll call of finished work: the year's notable casino, hotel and entertainment projects, each credited to the architects, interior designers and builders who delivered it. 1 story. The rest of the issue follows below. Sections are the magazine's own: each annual was assembled out of departments that recurred from year to year, and the pages are kept at the addresses the issue gave them.

1 storie sit under BUILDING EXCITEMENT, all of them from 2009.

BUILDING EXCITEMENT is one of 6 departments in Casino Design 2009; the others are Columns, COMPANY PROFILES, Departments, FEATURES and GGB Directory. The issue as a whole carried 6 stories, and all of them are listed on the Casino Design 2009 page. In order, the set runs Azores Gem.

The list below is the whole of it — there is no second page and nothing is held back. Each headline keeps the address it was first published at, so a link made to one of these stories years ago still lands on the story itself. The sections are an index laid over the archive, not a rewrite of it, and the counts printed beside each entry are recounted every time the site is built rather than typed in once and left to drift out of date.

A note on navigation. Every story here can also be reached from the issue it ran in, from the contributor who wrote it and, where the text names a practice, from that practice's page in the firm directory. Those four routes lead to the same file at the same address; none of them is a copy. If a link from elsewhere on the web points at an older form of one of these addresses, it still arrives, because the old address was kept and pointed here rather than retired.
